JLG's updated 15T industrial carrier
US-based telehandler and mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) manufacturer JLG Industries, has launched an enhanced Jerr-Dan 15T LP Industrial Carrier “to support the evolving transportation needs of rental, construction and industrial fleets”.
The new carrier has a 30,000 lb. (13.6T) structural deck capacity, with multiple deck lengths ranging from 24 - 30 ft. (7.3 - 9.1T), and material options, which JLG says allows rental fleets to align the carrier with diverse equipment profiles and regional operating conditions.
The carrier offers 20,000 lb. (9T) worm gear or planetary winch options, each equipped with air-free spool functionality, to support controlled loading and recovery.
Available features include dual lighted side controls, wireless remote-control options, LED lighting, rear awareness indicator lights (RAIL) and an available backup camera system to support confident operation in busy yards and job sites.
The carrier is engineered for mounting on chassis with a minimum GVWR of 46,000 lb. (20.5T) providing the robust foundation required for heavy-duty transport while supporting fleet standardisation strategies.
