Toyota launches new model of the Stand-Up Rider forkliftToyota launches new model of Stand-Up Rider
Columbus, IN, United States
Toyota Material Handling (TMH) has launched a new model of its Stand-Up Rider counterbalance forklift to the North American market.
With lifting capacities ranging between 3,000 lbs. and 5,000 lbs. (1.36T to 2.3T), the counterbalance forklift is designed for demanding warehouse environments.
Its new features include electric power steering, ergonomic design integration, a wide range of telematics, and advanced AC drive and lift motor systems.
Energy efficiency is also a core outcome of regenerative plugging, which returns energy to the battery, increasing runtime, while the forklift’s compact footprint — with three- and four-stage mast options - and a lift height of 270 inches (6.9m), allows for easy navigation of narrow aisles.
The 7-inch (18cm) multi-function colour touchscreen display shares load weight, mast tilt positioning, and lift height indication at a glance, TMH states.
“The Toyota Stand-Up Rider Forklift is built to perform, and it’s now at its most efficient,” says Cesar Jimenez, VP of regulatory affairs & product planning, Toyota Material Handling.
“From electric power steering to Toyota’s MyInsights telematics, the new Stand-Up Rider has been strategically engineered to last for the busy warehouses that keep our world moving every day.”
