LuiGong Indonesia has delivered LRSE4531E reach stacker
LuiGong Indonesia has delivered its first electric reach stacker in the country, to an unnamed integrated container logistics company.
The LRSE4531E reach stacker has a 45T capacity and a lift height of 15m.
“The presence of this electric reach stacker is a strategic step in supporting more efficient and environmentally friendly port operations,” LuiGong Indonesia states. “Over the years, we and the logistics company have collaborated in unit procurement, after-sales service, and operational training.
“This LRSE4531E delivery confirms our commitment to driving the transformation of the logistics industry towards a greener and more sustainable system.”
A subsidiary of LiuGong Machinery Corporation, LuiGong Indonesia opened its office in Jakarta in 2019.
Forklift certification provides future pathway for inmates

An inmate receives training for his forklift certification
A number of inmates at Whitley County Detention Center have been given the chance to undertake forklift operator certification while incarcerated.
The Forklift University course was offered for the first time at the prison at no cost, through the Reentry and Employment Branch of the Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet, in partnership with the Kentucky Office of Adult Education and Cumberlands Workforce Board.
All 12 participants in the course were successful in earning their operator certification under the five-day course.
“Following certification, partners from Goodwill Kentucky met with these inmates to build job readiness skills and will continue supporting them as they prepare for employment upon release,” the detention centre states in a Facebook post.
“These partners also work closely with local employers such as AISIN Automotive Casting and Staffmark to connect individuals with job opportunities that align with their newly acquired skills.
“These employers are guaranteed to connect with these individuals after completing the training.”
