Staplermaxx expands electric range
Swiss materials handling equipment provider Staplermaxx, has expanded its service capabilities and the range of equipment it stocks “to meet growing demand for electric and low-emission lifting solutions”.
“The shift toward electric material handling equipment has accelerated throughout Switzerland as companies seek to reduce emissions while maintaining operational efficiency”, the company states.
“Staplermaxx has responded by strengthening its offerings of electric three-wheel and four-wheel forklifts, electric scissor lifts, and electric stair climbers, alongside traditional combustion models.

Smart Factory Academy Casablanca launched with African event
Trade fair organiser Hannover Messe has announced the addition of a new show, Industrial Transformation Africa, to be held in 2026.
The event, to be held between September 29 and October 1 in Casablanca, Morocco, will establish “a new central platform for industrial innovation, technology transfer and international collaboration across the continent”.
While launching the new African event, Hannover Messe also launched its new Smart Factory Academy Casablanca, a year-round platform which will offer training sessions, workshops, conferences and hands-on demonstrations in automation, robotics and Industry 4.0.
“Africa is a rapidly expanding and strategically vital market for industry,” says Hannover Messe CEO Jochen Köckler.
“Together, Industrial Transformation Africa and the Smart Factory Academy Casablanca allow us to engage with our customers throughout the year and strengthen our global Hannover Messe network sustainably.”

Interfit acquires Spanish companies
French-headquartered materials handling equipment tyre manufacturer Interfit, continues its expansion across Europe with the acquisition of two Spanish materials handling tyre service providers - Delgado e Hijos SA and Rodelma SL.
Barcelona-based Delgado e Hijos SA was founded in 1962 while Rodelma SL was established in 2008 in Castellón (Valencia Region).
Interfit says the acquisitions reinforce its presence in Europe and expands its ability to deliver services across the continent.
“This acquisition represents an important milestone in Interfit’s growth in Europe”, says Maurizio Buonopane, VP business development & strategy. “With the integration of the Delgado e Hijos and Rodelma businesses, we are strengthening our customer proximity and further enhancing our ability to serve customers with high-quality tire services at local level.
