The LogiMat Best Product Awards were announced at the event's opening-day ceremony
LogiMAT has named three products that promise greater efficiency, automation, and optimisation in intralogistics processes as the winners of its LogiMat Best Product Awards.
Presented in the LogiMAT Arena during the trade show’s gala opening-day ceremony, the awards were adjudicated by an independent jury of researchers and journalists.
They reviewed more than 116 submissions before selecting the following three winners:
“Software, Communications, IT” category
The award in the "Software, Communications, IT" category went to the EPG AURA Observer, developed by the Ehrhardt Partner Group.
In developing the product, the Ehrhardt Partner Group (EPG) created an AI-based environment for the cross-system analysis and optimisation of logistics operations.
The EPG AURA Observer is a specialised product within this environment that pioneers AI-powered, real-time intelligent video analytics (IVA) to deliver better safety, visibility, and decentralised warehouse management.
Prior to the release of this product, there wasn’t any scalable method for interpreting video streams in real time, accurately identifying relevant situations, and converting this information into actionable operational signals. The EPG AURA Observer fills this gap.
“Order Picking, Conveying, Lifting, Storing Technology” category
The award in the “Order Picking, Conveying, Lifting, Storing Technology” category went to SkyBot, a mobile, omnidirectional ceiling-mounted cobot, developed by CeiliX Technology.
SkyBot features patented technology that enables the collision-free movement of robots, cobots, and cranes along ceilings – independently of room geometry, floor layout, or columns.
In addition, SkyBot is the first solution to utilise the warehouse ceiling as a productive work area. It enables automation in confined spaces, keeps the floor clear, and offers flexibility for modern production and logistics processes.
“Identification, Cargo Securement, Packaging and Loading Technology” category
The award in the “Identification, Cargo Securement, Packaging and Loading Technology” category went to the Acoustic Detection and Ranging (ADAR) sensor developed by Norwegian sensor technology company Sonair.
The patented ADAR technology boosts the sensor capacities of autonomous machinery. It uses ultra-compact 3D ultrasonic sensors to give autonomous robots full omnidirectional depth perception, enabling safe human-robot collaboration in the workplace.
