B&B Attachments, the exclusive UK distributor for KAUP, has released the KAUP Smart Load Control (SLC) 2.0 to the UK materials handling market.

As displayed this week at LogiMAT 2026, the new product is designed to ensure faster handling cycles, enhanced safety, and improved efficiency.

Thanks to KAUP’s patented Smart Load Control technology, the appliance clamp has the ability to automatically regulate force according to load weight and therefore reduce handling damage while removing operator guesswork.

In addition, SLC 2.0 includes fewer components, optimised hydraulics and integrated valve units. This means it is able to deliver operating speeds comparable to standard clamps while maintaining intelligent, weight-dependent clamping control.

By eliminating manual pressure selection, the system removes operator influence over clamping force, reducing the risk of load damage. 

In addition, a new display and electric pressure relief valve allows for quick adaptation when changing trucks or load types, while its self-contained, plug-and-play design allows clamps to be shared across fleets without compromising the forklift’s CE compliance.

Further features include improved serviceability, thanks to simplified set-up and easier component access; an integrated display that records all clamping operations; downloadable data; and a dedicated test mode for improved operational insight.
