ASC has been acquired by Barcomation
Victorian-headquartered industrial automation business Automation Systems and Controls (ASC), has been acquired by Australia automation solutions specialists Barcomation.
The merged business now operates under Barcomation but trades as Automation Systems and Controls, with the acquisition marking a new phase of growth for ASC.
The transition sees Sven Klockmann join as director of Barcomation, and will lead the business moving forward. He replaces Rick Colling who is stepping down after more than 20 years of service.
“I am excited to join the Automation Systems and Controls team and build on the strong foundation established over many years,” says Klockmann. “Our focus will remain on delivering high-quality service while strengthening the business and investing in future growth.”
Tony Bowyer, co-founder of Automation Systems and Controls, will continue as national sales manager, ensuring ongoing consistency in customer engagement and market presence.
ASC says it expects the transition to be seamless.
