The 13th AFEG Golf Championship was held 27-28 July 2026 at the Forest City Golf Resort, Johor Bahru, Malaysia
More than 150 industry professionals from six countries gathered in Johor Bahru as Malaysia claimed the Overall Championship title at the 13th AFEG Golf Championship.
The Asian forklift and material handling community came together at Forest City Golf Resort, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, on 27–28 July 2026 for the 13th AFEG Golf Championship, combining friendly competition with valuable networking opportunities that continue to strengthen relationships across the regional industry.
Organised by the Asian Forklift Enterprise Group (AFEG), the annual championship attracted more than 150 participants from Malaysia, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Laos, highlighting the event’s growing importance as a platform for industry professionals to connect, exchange ideas and build stronger partnerships across Asia.
After two days of competition, Malaysia emerged as the Overall Champion, marking another successful chapter in the history of the AFEG Golf Championship.

Malaysia Team Secures Overall Champion Trophy at 13th AFEG Golf Championship
The organisers expressed their appreciation to all sponsors for their valuable contributions in supporting the success of the championship.
In addition to its sponsorship support, Hangcha Malaysia Sdn Bhd contributed to the event by sponsoring beverages throughout the two-day championship, helping create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for participants, sponsors and guests to relax, network and celebrate the spirit of the AFEG Golf Championship.
The two-day championship featured exciting competition, with special prizes adding to the excitement on the course.
On the opening day, 27 July, participants competed for a new Noblelift CPD25-AS electric forklift prize, while the Nearest to Pin winners on the two par-three holes each received a new F4 iMOW motorised pallet truck.
The Day One Gross Champion title was awarded to Mr Keith Chew of Malaysia, recognising his outstanding performance during the opening round.
On 28 July, players competed for a new EP EFX5-301 electric forklift prize, while another two F4 iMOW motorised pallet trucks were awarded to the Nearest to Pin winners.
The Day Two Gross Champion title went to Mr Liu Ting Hua of Laos/China, while Ms Kwan Dao of Thailand was crowned the Ladies’ Gross Champion, highlighting the strong participation and competitive spirit among players from across the region.
Although participants enjoyed strong competition throughout the tournament, there were unfortunately no hole-in-one achievements during the two-day championship.

Strengthening regional industry relationships
AFEG Chairman Albert Ng from Hup Ching Forklift Parts Sdn. Bhd. expressed his appreciation to all sponsors, participants and organisers for their continued support in making the championship a success.
He said the annual event has become an important tradition for bringing together professionals from across Asia’s forklift and material handling industry, providing a valuable opportunity to strengthen friendships, encourage cooperation and develop long-term business relationships.
AFEG President Lim CS of Allied Handling Equipment (M) Sdn. Bhd. highlighted the importance of regional participation and the role of the championship in connecting industry players from different markets.
He said the strong turnout from across Asia demonstrates the value of creating opportunities where manufacturers, distributors, suppliers and partners can come together in a relaxed environment to share experiences, exchange knowledge and strengthen industry collaboration.
AFEG Secretary and event organiser SF Phun (P & S Forklift (M) Sdn. Bhd.) said the championship has evolved into much more than a sporting event.

With participation continuing to grow each year, the AFEG Golf Championship has established itself as one of the region’s key networking events for the forklift and logistics industry, bringing together manufacturers, dealers, suppliers and customers from across Asia.
The organisers thanked all sponsors, participants and supporters for contributing to another memorable event and announced that China will host the 14th AFEG Golf Championship in Kunming in 2027.
The upcoming championship is expected to continue the tradition of bringing together forklift manufacturers, distributors, suppliers and industry professionals from across Asia, further strengthening cooperation and friendships within the regional material handling community.
