Strengthening regional industry relationships

AFEG Chairman Albert Ng from Hup Ching Forklift Parts Sdn. Bhd. expressed his appreciation to all sponsors, participants and organisers for their continued support in making the championship a success.

He said the annual event has become an important tradition for bringing together professionals from across Asia’s forklift and material handling industry, providing a valuable opportunity to strengthen friendships, encourage cooperation and develop long-term business relationships.

AFEG President Lim CS of Allied Handling Equipment (M) Sdn. Bhd. highlighted the importance of regional participation and the role of the championship in connecting industry players from different markets.

He said the strong turnout from across Asia demonstrates the value of creating opportunities where manufacturers, distributors, suppliers and partners can come together in a relaxed environment to share experiences, exchange knowledge and strengthen industry collaboration.

AFEG Secretary and event organiser SF Phun (P & S Forklift (M) Sdn. Bhd.) said the championship has evolved into much more than a sporting event.

“The AFEG Golf Championship is about bringing our industry together. Every year we see stronger participation from across Asia, creating opportunities for manufacturers, distributors, suppliers and business partners to reconnect, build new relationships and exchange ideas.

“We are grateful to all our sponsors, participants and the organising committee for making the 13th AFEG Golf Championship another outstanding success. Their continued support is what makes this event possible and strengthens the friendships that unite our industry.”

With participation continuing to grow each year, the AFEG Golf Championship has established itself as one of the region’s key networking events for the forklift and logistics industry, bringing together manufacturers, dealers, suppliers and customers from across Asia.

The organisers thanked all sponsors, participants and supporters for contributing to another memorable event and announced that China will host the 14th AFEG Golf Championship in Kunming in 2027.

The upcoming championship is expected to continue the tradition of bringing together forklift manufacturers, distributors, suppliers and industry professionals from across Asia, further strengthening cooperation and friendships within the regional material handling community.
