Swedish forklift manufacturer Max Truck AB has been declared bankrupt. Attorney Jan Lindahl has been appointed bankruptcy administrator to supervise the company’s winding up. Max Truck AB was founded in 2005 and based in Östersund, Sweden. It was launched with lofty aims to manufacture and market electric forklifts. PALFINGER will debut its first crawler crane at the IAA Commercial Vehicles in September in Hanover. German motorhome manufacturer Capron, part of the Erwin Hymer Group, has commissioned Jungheinrich to expand the warehouse capacity at its production site in Neustadt, Saxony. Modulift beams played a key role in lifting a 45 T boat into water for the first time at a harbour in Hafnarfjörður on the southwest coast of Iceland, about 10km south of Reykjavík. A dock worker was crushed to death by a forklift truck at Marina di Carrara port on Tuesday. The man, said to be around 40, was hit by the manoeuvring truck while loading a ship. He was immediately killed, according to people on the scene. The man's name has not been released. Yale Europe Materials Handling has confirmed that Stage V engines will be available for some Yale trucks from the fourth quarter of 2018. The new EU standards will come into force from 1 January 2019 for diesel and LPG engines from 19-56 kW and above 130 kW.
