Goscor Lift Truck Company (GLTC) will show the Doosan 'brakes for life' system at NAMPO 2018. It will display two Doosan forklifts, the D35C-5 forklift and a refurbished Doosan D25S-5. The 'brakes for life' system is an oil-cooled disc brake system (OCB), which, being totally enclosed, eliminates all outside contamination by any abrasive or corrosive dust particles. Baltic mobile crane rental company Strele Logistics supplied lifting and rigging equipment, including a Modulift spreader beam, as a 49 ft. (15 m) chimney was recently installed at a biological waste treatment facility in Kaunas, Lithuania. A 66-year-old Malaysian forklift importer has been killed while unloading a vehicle. Wong Kok Wan died at a factory in Jalan Telok Gong. According to media reports, the victim was delivering two forklifts using a lorry. It is believed he lost control of one of the forklifts while unloading it from the truck and was crushed under the machine. Authorities are investigating the cause.
