Police shot the driver of a forklift who went on a rampage in the eastern Chinese city of Yantai. The driver killed one bystander and injured at least 10 others in the coastal city near Beijing. According to media reports, police officers tried several different methods to stop the vehicle before resorting to lethal force. Haulotte Group has announced the sale of 100% of the shares of the Italian powered access rental company Nove to Loxam Group. Nove was founded in 1998 and has been controlled by Haulotte since 2006. The US occupational safety authority, OSHA, is giving stakeholders until July 5 to comment on its proposed rule for crane operator certification requirements.
