A man has been killed in an accident involving a forklift at Right Manufacturing in Lindon, Utah. Local police identified the victim as 21-year-old Riley McGill of American Fork. McGill became trapped and received fatal injuries while operating the forklift, police say. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The incident remains under investigation. Dubai construction contractor Fujairah National Construction (FNC) is finding the Bobcat T40180 18 m telehandler more than a match for the harsh conditions in the United Arab Emirates. Cal/OSHA has issued citations to marine cargo handler SSA Pacific Inc. for wilful and serious safety violations following the investigation of a 2016 fatal forklift accident at the Port of San Diego. Riwal has sold the world's first 43 m all-electric boom lift to Steiness Liftcenter ApS in Denmark. Riwal's technical team, led by Nico den Ouden, converted a JLG 1350SJP from diesel to 100% electric. A Berlin forklift rental company is thankful for the digital logbook on its Linde forklifts. Thieves tried to steal one of three forklifts hired for a sporting event in the German capital from Linde network partner Trafö GmbH in Wustermark (Brandenburg). Qube, the giant Australian logistics supplier with services and facilities in 28 Australian ports, has ordered an LHM 550 for its operations in Whyalla. This will be the ninth mobile harbour crane Qube has ordered from Liebherr in the last five years, with an LHM 420 also currently on its way to Bell Bay in Tasmania.
