JCB helps quake effort Sulawesi, Indonesia JCB has donated USD250,000 worth of equipment to the Indonesian island of Sulawesi following the earthquake and tsunami which have killed more than 1,400 people. JLG Industries is offering a new safety system that bolts onto existing JLG platforms in the field. Haulotte Group has announced the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Turkish distributor Acarlar Makine. Acarlar was created in 2003 by the Acar group. The company is headquartered in Istanbul and has 34 employees in four branches throughout Turkey. Beer giant AB InBev has opened a new automated warehouse at its largest UK brewery in Magor, Wales. The automated warehouse features technology supplied by automated materials handling specialist Consoveyo, which is headquartered in Porto, Portugal. The Jungheinrich Used Equipment Centre has delivered its 50,000th forklift. The milestone vehicle was a Jungheinrich EFG 216k counterbalance forklift. Riwal has extended its depot network in Germany by acquiring rental company Adam GmbH. Adam is a rental specialist of aerial work platforms, telehandlers and forklifts, founded in 1990 by Markus Adam. The company is based in Hanau, near Frankfurt, has 20 employees at two locations and operates a fleet of 110 machines, including scissor lifts, boom lifts and truck-mounted platforms. Konecranes has won another order from Goeyvaerts, a Belgian rental crane expert. It will be Goeyvaerts' 15th Konecranes Gottwald mobile harbour crane and the largest crane in its fleet.
