Analysts are closely watching Turkey after the local currency, the Lira, slumped by 40% against the US dollar and inflation nudged 18%. Kalmar has been awarded a contract to heighten four ZPMC ship-to-shore (STS) cranes operated by Generale de Manutention Portuaire (GMP), a joint venture between DP World and Terminal Link (CMA-CGM), located in the port of Le Havre. Mexico’s Arrendo has placed an order for four new Demag all-terrain cranes to keep up with the needs of its growing customer base. Included in the order is a newly introduced Demag AC 300-6, two Demag AC 100-4Ls and one Demag AC 500-8 all-terrain crane.
