Responsible for handling customer problems and complaints.
Responsible for developing and maintaining key accounts.
Contact customers to enhance relations and improve customer perception of the company by keeping them up to date on service progress.
Responsible for the recruiting, hiring and training of new personnel.
Responsible for the evaluation and discipline of employees along with maintaining high communication levels within the service department.
Responsible for the achievement of financial goals set for the service, parts, and rental department by the company.
Responsible for establishing measurement properties for service, parts and rental department goals.
Company goals to include effective job scheduling, billing efficiency, quoting and turnaround time.
Responsible to see that new customers are OK'd for credit prior to doing service.
Responsible for the targeting and penetration of new accounts while maintaining current customer base.
Responsible for developing and maintaining procedures for processes performed in the service department.
Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping and ensuring and efficient and safe working environment.
Ensures that necessary tools and equipment are available and maintained in safe operating condition.
Responsible for service vehicles as they pertain to image, safety and maintenance.
Responsible for maintaining records and following OSHA, HAZMAT, DOT, MSDS and other required regulations pertaining to the service department.
Act as a liaison with our represented manufacturers' factory service support departments.
Assist in obtaining timely technical assistance for our technical staff.
Administer authorization and reimbursement for factory support of warranty repairs.
Responsible for all checking accounts, petty cash, grounds and maintenance for the branch.
Requirements / Skills
A technical background is required.
Management experience is required.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
Regular and prompt attendance
Present a professional image in personal appearance, dress and preparation.
Working Conditions: Flexibility to work when the customer needs require it and will often exceed 40 hours per week. This is a salaried position.
