HYG designs, engineers, manufactures, sells and services a comprehensive line of lift trucks and aftermarket parts marketed globally under the Hyster and Yale brand names. We are one of the global leaders in the Material Handling industry and have been building relationships and partnering with our customers, suppliers, dealers and employees for over 80 years.

HYG is looking for an energetic Product Manager. As Product Manager - Robotics & Automation, you will lead cross functional teams made up of manufacturing, dealers, engineering, purchasing, sales and marketing to create, develop and implement new product ideas and marketing projects designed to gain significant market share. Working under the guidance of the Director Solutions, this position will research customer and application needs, develop new product and services concepts and manage them from development through launch and throughout the product's lifecycle. This position will provide regular performance updates on share, profit and industry/key customer penetration for the assigned products and develop plans to address any issues and further grow share. This position will project manage all key product launches and will prepare the preparation of all documents for the Review Gate process. This position will manage the preparation of all the information required for the option feature matrix, global worksheet, specifications sheets, sales sheets and other data as needed. This position is responsible for providing analytical, financial, market research, product development, and marketing support to the Director Product Strategy. This position will track key industry and technology trends and their implications for HYG and the assigned product lines. This position will also manage all marketing inventory for the assigned product areas.
Requirements / Skills
The successful Product Manager - Robotics & Automation will have the following Minimum Qualifications:
- BS degree, technical/engineering, or related field required. MBA preferred.
- Minimum 7 years relevant experience.
- Excellent analytical skills, business acumen and product marketing skills. Proven ability to lead cross functional teams to design and implement high impact product ideas under high pressure deadlines
- Project management skills
- Excellent product, application and technical knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong computer skills
