For Industrial Truck Management, I.D. Systems designs and delivers products which focus on facility and campus logistics operations via its vehicle management solutions.  These systems monitor and control vehicles in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and airport/seaports.  Our SMB product line of similar systems is marketed by our Keytroller subsidiary out of their Tampa, Florida offices.

The ideal candidate will have worked for a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Dealer in a technical or sales/business development capacity for a minimum of 5+ years.  Previous Sales experience of MHE telematics systems (a.k.a. VMS) is of significant benefit. S/he will be responsible for developing the sales pipeline and closure of new business with the I.D. Systems Partners (Dealers) in the assigned territory. Additional responsibilities are as follows:
• Develop sales/business development relationships with Dealers/Partners in the defined territory.
• Assist Dealers with Customer meetings/presentations to sell the full suite of products to Dealers and their customers in the assigned territory.
• Develop pricing/proposals from opportunity identification to contract award.
• Undertake regular pipeline review with Dealers in assigned territory.
• Establish and grow business relationships with key decision makers, identifying and developing strong relationships, and appropriately utilizing influencers and advocates within the Dealer/Partner network.
• Responsible for the management and coordination of sales activities at key Dealers
• Develop up-selling and business development opportunities from new and established Dealer relationships

Requirements / Skills:

• Excellent presentation and organizational skills; able to present ideas to Dealers, Partners and VARs as well as end Customers in a way that produces understanding and impact
• Demonstrated ability to manage and grow sales volume; ability to meet and exceed sales goals
• Outstanding influencing, interpersonal and networking skills
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment
• Proven consultative sales skills, including the ability to discover customer problems and implications, establish value and financial justification resulting in customer purchase
• Previous experience with MHE Dealers in either technical and/or sales roles is of significant benefit and highly desired.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or related field
• 5+ years successful solutions sales or business development experience with demonstrated ability to close deals, manage forecasting and develop strong relationships with Dealers/Partners.
• Must reside in the territory supported (Western or Central U.S.), and have the ability to travel approximately 75% of time
• Salesforce (CRM) experience will be of benefit
