Description:
Sackett Systems is an industrial manufacturer with a proprietary line of custom-designed and manufactured equipment that is used to change large, industrial batteries used by forklifts in manufacturing and distribution centers. We have an opportunity available for a Director of National Accounts to lead our business sales efforts to win new clients and expand relationships with existing large, multi-location customers across the U.S.

If you have a passion for winning new business, possess strong negotiation skills, and have a proven track-record of setting and achieving challenging goals, this is a great opportunity for you!


Requirements / Skills:
We are seeking a team member who has:
* The ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents.
* The mechanical aptitude to translate customers technical and mechanical requirements to our engineering team and articulate the engineering team's solutions to the customer.
* A commitment to outstanding customer service and support.
* The persistence, determination and enthusiasm to keep customers engaged and committed through a long sales cycle.
* The proven ability to close deals and manage multi-year sourcing decisions.
* Five to ten years related sales experience selling industrial equipment or other technical or mechanical equipment or services.
* The desire to travel across the U.S is required on an on-going basis and may be as much as 50%.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
