Description: Description: Fabricating Group Lead
Primary Function: To function as a member of the Fabricating Group producing fabricated parts and assemblies with various manual and C N C equipment.

Tools and Equipment: Various types of equipment including but not limited to drill presses, sanders, saws, CNC and manual press brakes, ordinary hand tools, straightening press, overhead crane, welder, cutting torch, CNC Laser, manual drills, fork lift, welder, etc.

Materials: Cast Iron, Cast Steel, Mild and alloy steels, non-ferrous metals, coolant, lubricating oils, various cutting tools, soapstone, crayons, etc.

Source of Supervision: Foreman
Direction Exercised: Coordinates the work of other fabrication workers

Working Procedure:
Functions as a member of a Fabricating Group producing parts and assemblies. Performs at skill levels including, but not limited to, operating drill presses, sanders, saws, ordinary hand tools, straightening press, welder, cutting torch, ripping machine, CNC metal processing machine, CNC plate processing machine, CNC Metal Processor, fork lift, etc. Must be able to read blueprints and precision measuring instruments. Responsible for own work within a group requiring coordination with other members of the group in order to maintain production. Performs other duties as assigned. Provides instruction and/or training as qualified. Implements, maintains and practices 5S principles. Assist shop personnel with production problems and/or questions. Responsible for daily production reporting. Oversees production to keep product flowing Ensures quality throughout the varying processes and compliance to all safety rules and regulations including general work rules.

* Must hold any governmental mandated certificates and licenses.
* Must pass TMW Fabricating Qualification Test.
* Must pass TMW CNC Fabricating Qua lification Test.
