The successful candidate will collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data using a combination of statistical knowledge and business intuition to turn data into useful information.  This individual will work closely with management to make strategic recommendations and business decisions based on this information.  


·         Evaluates existing and potential markets by collecting and analyzing data.  Analyzes conditions that may impact sales by researching market conditions, customer and dealer perceptions, changes in the industry, and by identifying and monitoring competitors to develop short- and long-term strategic marketing plans.  Leads projects in support of these functions.

·         Designs information systems and/or utilizes existing systems to extract, review, analyze, and interpret complex data and make appropriate recommendations to management.

·         Selects data samples, prepares questionnaires, and analyzes collected information according to established statistical methods, changing processes where needed.

·         Prepares reports and summarizes and communicates data pertinent to assignments, while noting tangential effects to direct management staff as well as other departments.

·         Coordinates various types of information, from multiple sources, in order to input and format data for problem identification and resolution.

·         Works with Product Management to evaluate product price strategies, including segment strategies, for various markets and channels.

·         Performs margin and pricing analysis to support key business initiatives as required.  Generates necessary reports to provide insights regarding these analyses.  

·         Summarizes information, via reports and presentation, so problems can be analyzed and resolved

Requirements / Skills: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

A BS or BA degree in business, economics, or a related field plus 5 or more years of related experience is required.  An MBA or graduate degree with specialization in Analytics is preferred.  Requires strong math skills such as algebra, calculus, and statistics.  Prefer proficiency with: Microsoft Office suite, SQL, R, Python, and/or Tableau.  Experience with statistical software packages and econometric modeling preferred.  Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization including senior and executive level staff.
