Description: Job Accountabilities:
* Issue and track purchase orders.
* Enter all purchase order information into system.
* Update vendors and price in computer when a lower price is found.
* Match POs with receiving, close POs and send copy to accounting department.
* Inform supervisors of late or long lead- time on material.
* Enter all supplies into computer.
* Answer telephone and take messages when receptionist is not in.
* Help in the process of expediting parts for customers and sales representatives.
* Work with assigned vendors on rejected parts, fill out proper RGM, and request RGA to return rejected parts to vendors.
* Work with accounting on invoice discrepancies.
* Work to make sure we are getting the best price possible for assigned parts.
* Keep Supervisor informed of any problems that may arise.

Job Requirements:
* High School graduate or GED.
* Three years job experience or equivalent in demonstrated experience and ability.
* Must be familiar with Excel, Lotus, and Microsoft programs.
* Must be able the access and use Internet to track orders.
* Must possess initiative and strong written and oral communications skills.
* General knowledge of Taylor Parts System would be a plus.
