I am working on a Yale GLC030ADJUAF083 truck sn: 463732
I paid a local guy to fix an oil leak, he brought me back a nightmare. I am already a brand new cylinder head and gasket kit into his "repair". It is timed correctly, and the head and rockers are properly setup (flatspot down). I am timing it according to 1342 CW rotation of the distributor. When I took the system apart to do the repairs, the Impco regulator "water out" side is plumbed to the bottom of the intake manifold. Is this correct, the forklift did run? I included the pictures I took of the system prior to disassembly, the line I am talking about is centered right in the pictures with some yellow overspray on it.
I don't have a correct manual for this lift, I have one ordered for an AF lift. Does anyone have a schematic for the LPG line connections for the lift? I need to get this thing up and going as soon as possible.
Second Question. The plastic 2.0 covers have the standard BTDC marking on them for timing, however, there is no way to get to them or read them with a timing light. There is a seel pointer that sticks out from the front of the motor and with the timing at TDC the pulley indicators align with the pointer. Am I to use this for timing, I am assuming that I am supposed to, I just want to be sure.
