Maximal Forklifts

Anyone know if Maximal is meeting Tier ll or lll spec's with out a cat convertor? A former Maximal tech tried to tell me this and I find it hard to believe.

While I didn't know it when I first saw this thread, I see now that Maximal are going to start trying to break into the US market...
I am sure they must be able to certify to the EPA and Customs that they do meet EPA standards.
I do know there used to be, and still may be a minimum number of motors that you manufacture in a year (I think it was 50) that you could slide "under the radar" and not have to face the EPA and C.A.R.B., but I don't remember anything about a minimum number of imported motors.

As I remember, any IC engine imported into the US must meet the US spec it's completed as.

According to studies published in the English Journal of Medicine, the impact of daylight savings is revealed by a 24% increase in heart attacks on the Monday following the spring shift forward. When clocks move back in autumn, heart attacks drop by about 21%, suggesting that loss of sleep is an important driver.
