Check the seat switch wiring. Is it showing any fault codes? If the operator is on the seat and the brake is released you shouldn't get a fault, but if it isn't seeing the seat switch made up it will give an A7 fault.

I will check the seat wiring. I don't see any fault codes because the forklift uses a hytroller controller.  I need a different troubleshooting guide other than the one I have here.  Im the new guy here as the old was let go for whatever reason.  thanks for your input.

yes normal alarm if no one is on seat. Open seat base and jumper deadman wires. Old seats collapse ans wont activate deadman. Wires can break also...use ohmeter...replace wires if changing deadman swithc

One other thing you might check. Make sure your brake pedal switch isn't activated. On our older 5FBCU15 trucks the brake pedal return spring would break and allow the pedal to activate the switch, which disables the drive, but it doesn't show a code because it just looks like the pedal is pushed. The trucks will drive with the parking brake active, but not the regular brakes. I don't know what the Hytroller controller is that you mention.

Thanks for your input very much appreciated...but i'm calling the Toyota rep today.  Ive by passed the brake, seat and seat belt limit switch and it still alarms except when I by pass the brake limit switch the alarm does not sound but it still will not move.  The hytroller is a little computer mounted for the operators to login to the forklift and it will turn everything on for them.

Have you checked the horn's contact pins and slip rings under the steering wheel? If you find that to be the problem, check the wear in the plastic piece that holds the contact pins also. If you can rock the pins very far back and forth, the holder will need replaced too. It's not uncommon for the springs to "relax" and loose their tension also.

yes I cleaned the slip rings and the contacts but  I will check the plastic piece that holds the pins as well.
