NISSAN MAP1F2A25LV Cam Position Sensor

Hi going to replace the Cam Sensor on a Nissan MAP1F2A25LV. Can I assume everything is metric on these lifts? Also it seems like taking the fan off is going to be the best way to access it, in addition to taking the little panel off behind the seat should I also remove the entire seat / hood or is that not necessary? Thanks in advance for any help! I did buy the OEM sensor!

Thanks for the reply. I was probably doing it today as you were writing this message. I ended up leaving the hood / seat on and accessing it from the panel behind the seat. Pulled the shroud forward and removed the fan to get to it. Your way sounds easier for sure. I'll know next time!

It is easier to access it from the LH rear wheel. If you can turn the wheel somewhat you can gain easy access to both the cam and crank sensor. The bolt heads are 10mm. I've done quite a number of these.
