Hello, We have a JLG 1230ES. It stopped working. I found the batteries were depleted of water. I refilled everything and put it in the charge for a few days. It works very well with the key on the base, but the controller box is non-responsive. I bought a "new" one that is supposed to be for this device but it's DOA. No lights, nothing.

Can anyone help me figure out what is wrong? The thing works with the controls on the base so I know basically it's functional, just not with the controller in the basket.
