Hyster S60 - Code 2000-12

2006 Hyster S60 LPG - Serial # F187V13413F - Cranks but No Start (Code 200-12)

I'm working on a 2006 Hyster S60 LPG with a GM 2.4L industrial engine. Serial number: F187V13413F.

Here's the timeline of the issue:

* It initially started running rough intermittently.
* Occasionally it would crank and run fine.
* Sometimes it would crank and run rough.
* A few times it would not crank at all.
* While diagnosing, I wiggled the battery negative cable once and the engine instantly died.
* After that, the problem progressively got worse.
* Now it cranks strong but will not start at all.

Current symptoms:

Cranks normally (starter strong)

No spark

No propane smell while cranking

Propane lockoff solenoid IS getting power

Code showing: 2000-12

Coil pack has already been replaced

Jumper cable from battery negative to engine block made no difference

It has been suggested to me that the crankshaft sensor may be the culprit but I have not been able to fully access it yet due to engine support structures and limited clearance.

Given:

No spark

No fuel delivery

Lockoff powered

2000-12 communication code

Progressive failure history

I am currently suspecting crankshaft position sensor failure, but looking for confirmation from others who've seen similar behavior on an S60 with the GM 2.4 LPG setup.

Has anyone experienced:

2000-12 with crank/no start?

Crank sensor failures on this engine?

Known wiring issues in this area?

Any common failure points I should check before replacing the sensor?

Appreciate any guidance.
