Hello all.
I have 2x of these Hyster L177 H70FTs both with the GM/PSI 2.4 that are both having canbus communication issues. I've tested what I can, cleared codes and waited for them to reappear, and have the following results:
Error codes present on one of them: 2000-12, 100-2, 106-4. JalTest gives can bus addressing error, Oil pressure OOR high, and MAP OOR low errors in that order. 100-2 and 2000-12 both recurring after being wiped last week for confirmation.
Unit has intermittent idle issues. It starts and runs, but stumbles maybe 2/10 times. seeming to improve when the unit gets up to operating temp.
I've ohm'd out the can bus (which is giving 40ohms. low. like there's a 3rd terminating resistor somewhere, but i'm currently flying without diagrams or manuals. so i'm not sure where to begin looking for the mystery 3rd resistor.) I've pulled live data. in fact, the error repopulated while actively connected to the can bus with the jaltest. meaning the can bus is working to communicate regardless of the error being thrown. I've heard that these units have had a known issue with the engine harness and was wondering if anyone has a service bulletin to justify throwing a harness at this thing, or if there's more information to go digging into before trying to shotgun parts at this thing without any confirmations.
Or just general ideas and tips would be welcome. I have a hard time believing that both of these units decided to blow out a VSM simultaneously, and am trying not to "spray and pray".
thanks in advance.
