Discussion:
Construction Jobs and COVID-19?

Do you know how to find entry-level positions in construction? I am ready to move abroad after the pandemic ends. Which country is best for construction jobs from your point of view?

As I know after such stagnation, industry always have blowing up. You just need to be patient and ready to learn. And as we can see in 2022, everything is relatively ok with construction industry.

What is your specialty work experience? I think it is better not to travel abroad during a pandemic.

It's important to work smarter rather than harder in these tough times. With a little determination and creativity, a hard-working contractor will survive and eventually thrive!

I can recommend you to look for opportunities to learn new skills that make you more attractive to a construction company or contractor. Only after 10 years of my career I finally got a high payment position in European construction company.

If you have any experience I can recommend you to check European construction companies. A pleasant working environment and good salaries. Inexperience is the biggest weakness.
I have worked in many construction companies, currently working for SVAYA - http://svaya-group.com/. Don't miss the opportunity to work, even if you are not 100% satisfied with the salary. Gaining work experience is very important. Leading construction companies prefer to hire only experienced workers.

As far as I know. There are no prominent construction jobs (even entry level jobs) you can start with no experience. If you have little experience you can become a carpentry laborer for example only. That's how I decided to start my career.
