Discussion:
Code 337

Hi,

I have a year 2000 Crown RD-5020 with this code. All the electrical wiring looks good but it will cut out mostly when lifting. If we release the pressure on the hydraulics to drop the forks it will start up again. We replaced the height encoder but it still cut out. We also tried replacing the access 3 module but still not fixed. I'm stuck at where to look next. Any suggestions would help alot. When it does start up it will lift up and down and reach out and in but won't move back and forward and also won't tilt or sideshift.

Showing items 1 - 2 of 2 results.
code 337 is relating to the temperature of ACCESS 3 is out of range.
Maybe slow air flow in the FAN1 and FAN 2 duct can cause this code so first examine the duct for any restrictions.

I would check over the mast cable
I've had them as they got to bad spot in wire to stop and then when lowered a little it made contact again
Run continuity test on wires
As soon as it cuts out stop and check for continuity
