Anyone here have any experience with ordering forklift engine computers from China or Spain ?

In this case Hyundai part, 39100-45800 (diesel ECU in 2012 year, model 70D)

Nothing political about my post. Just simply stated a real live & parallel example of what is happening with the availability of electronic devises for manufacturers use and service parts in another industry and why there is a backlog. Chill

Think sourcing control boards and the like are a problems for all manufacturers. Recently had a board go out on my new Whirlpool Oven/Range - bought this past Nov. and was produced in Oct. 2021). Whirlpool has zero in stock & don't know when they can get one W T F. The local service dealer had two boards but not of the correct color but installed them to keep ours up & running. Point of manufacturer - China to Whirlpool specs. the folks that gave us Covid plus the log jams of West Coat container ships at the various inbound ports. That all results in "organized confusion" and higher prices "if" you can get 'em.
