Discussion:
1999 Toyota 1DZ2 water in oil

Hi. I bought a second hand forklift. It had water in oil, but the rest of the forklift is mint condition.

We replaced the head gasket and reconned the head. The thermostat was removed as we thought this was the problem. Oil was drained a few times.

After 2 hours running the oil was again full of milky "badness". It is running cold without the thermostat.

We again changed the oil and after 30 min the oil looked good. Hour later it turned milky again and the dipstick showed it had more oil in. Radiator also dropped about 500ml.

Any help in diagnosing the problem. What or were else could water still be getting into the engine? Waterpump?? Is there a seal that can dump water inside engine?

Help please.

First you must make air leaking down test for cylinder head to check every cylinder if everything is ok remove cylinder head cover and start your forklift and check oil is coming up in rocker shaft maybe one oil passage is closed if everything is ok stop your engine remove cylinder head and check your cylinder head gasket maybe oil holes have no seal or rubber and this make too much oil go to water holes finally I attached a photo for original cylinder head gasket it has 3 notches which must be upside and backward engine block.
