The Australian Forklift Championship (AFC) as seen in Forkliftaction, the Today Show, Sunrise, and many more major media outlets will return this year, with organisers opening entries to forklift operators and organisations from across the country. The 2026 event will be staged at CeMAT Australia, held from 23-25 June 2026 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The Championship is designed to highlight safe, skilled, and professional forklift operation, bringing together operators from a wide range of industries within the materials handling and logistics sector.

Organisers have confirmed several refinements for the 2026 edition, aimed at improving the competitor experience and strengthening industry engagement.

The competition will again feature two entry pathways:

Individual Entrants: Operators compete based on their own performance across a series of practical challenges.
Corporate Teams: Organisations can enter a pair of operators to represent their business in the team division.
