STANDARD PARTS FOR NEW-GEN HYSTER FORKLIFTS

Following the launch of the S1.0 - S1.6 stacker series in 2001, Hyster has upgraded three more forklifts to bring them in line with its range of new-generation machines.
The company has upgraded the S1.2S and S1.5S stacker forklifts, the P.20S pallet truck and the RP2.0N rider pallet truck. A new double pallet stacker, the P2.0SD, has also been introduced.
Hyster Europe warehouse product manager Tony Mason said while the model additions offered users different solutions for different applications, all had standard features, such as a new tiller head, a combi-controller and an independent drive motor.
"This is a major step forward for warehouse trucks. For the first time it gives users an equipment standard against which they can invest for the future, knowing that it will be common to new Hyster warehouse equipment as it is introduced," he said.
