Personal service and integrity clinch deal

GLOUCESTER, NSW, Australia
Thursday, 10 Jul 2008
The Toyota forklift in action at Gloucester Garden Centre.
A rural New South Wales garden centre has recently commissioned a Toyota forklift for all its material handling needs.

According to the Gloucester Garden Centre owner John Porter, "the Toyota forklift is one of the best things I've ever bought - a fantastic bit of gear. It has saved us time, money and effort."

But what clinched the deal was the personal service and integrity of the salesperson, James Papas of TMH New South Wales.

"I phoned six companies when I was looking to buy a forklift, but only two visited us. James won me (over) because in a competitive situation he didn't drop the price from what he had said was his best price," explains Porter.

Safety features of the Toyota 8-Series forklift range include Toyota's system of active stability (SAS) and operator presence sensing (OPS) as standard equipment.
