Last key appointment for Infrastructure Australia

Michael Deegan has been appointed as the inaugural infrastructure co-ordinator in charge of overseeing the day-to-day operations of Infrastructure Australia and working closely with its 12 members.

Deegan has a wealth of experience across infrastructure sectors, having worked in both the public and private domain. His work experience includes positions as a director general of the NSW Department of Transport; assistant secretary of the Commonwealth Department of Administrative Services; secretary of the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet; director of various construction and investment companies; president of the Property Council of Australia; and chairman of the National Transport Commission.
