Alcohol thieves used forklift

BRISBANE, Australia
Wednesday, 2 Apr 2008
Thieves are suspected of stealing 17 pallets of alcohol with the aid of a forklift on Easter Sunday.

According to MX, police say thieves used a forklift at the Rocklea warehouse to load a 1999 ACCO truck with registration number 998 KBP with seven pallets of gin, two pallets of Irish whiskey, eight pallets of vodka and one pallet of champagne.

Warehouse workers discovered the robbery when they returned to work after the Easter long weekend. The thieves are believed to have pulled the heist between 7.30am on Sunday and 2.30pm on Monday.
