SMH releases new series of “Chopper Modules”

Systems Material Handling (SMH) is now offering the first in a series of "Chopper Modules" suitable for a wide range of applications. Manufactured in SMH’s Grayslake, Illinois facility, Chopper Modules are designed to regulate the on/off function of the power transistor based on signals from the vehicle manager.

Additionally, these modules monitor and limit current through the power transistor, monitor the power panel temperature, and interface the power amplifier to the vehicle manager. Offered as direct replacements, SMH’s new chopper modules are compatible with Raymond and Caterpillar order pickers.
