Atlet is now Nissan dealerUTRECHT, Netherlands Thursday, 23 Nov 2006
The partnership would not involve Nissan selling Atlet forklifts in the Netherlands under the Nissan brand, Dutch logistics magazine Logistiek.nl reported. Nissan Forklift Europe’s Kees van Santen told Logistiek.nl that was a decision to be made by Atlet. "We have that wish in the Netherlands, but it is a decision Atlet Sweden needs to make. This decision was made by Atlet Benelux and Nissan." However, he said the decision was "a step forward in that direction". In June 2002, Atlet partnered with Nissan to manufacture a range of its warehouse equipment to be supplied by Nissan France SA under the Nissan Forklift Europe brand (Forkliftaction.com News #64). In 2003, Nissan Forklift Europe and Atlet expanded their cross-branding relationship into UK warehouse products (Forkliftaction.com News #137).
