BRUDI SALE WON'T AFFECT AUSTRALIA: LONG REACH

HOUSTON, United States
Thursday, 14 Mar 2002
Long Reach Inc president Bill Sample says the January sale of palletless handling maker Brudi (Forkliftaction.com News #42) did not include the brand name or trademark for Brudi in Australia.

Mr Sample said Auramo-Bolzoni acquired rights to the Brudi brand, along with the Brudi "push-pull" product line and associated spare parts "for worldwide use with the exception of Australia", where products and spare parts are sold by Long Reach Brudi Pacific in Adelaide, South Australia.

"This is a very important distinction applicable to the sale of forklift attachments in Australia," Mr Sample said.

Long Reach Brudi Pacific director Ian Budenberg assured Australian forklift buyers that his company was still the leading Australian outlet for Brudi products and spare parts.
