Gehl sponsors historic racetrack

WEST BEND, WI, United States
Thursday, 11 Aug 2005
Gehl Company is sponsoring the Milwaukee Mile motorsports racetrack, at State Fair Park in West Allis, Wisconsin, with what will be known as the "official compact equipment of the Milwaukee Mile".

An RS Series telescopic handler, a skid loader and an all-wheel-steer loader will be used by Milwaukee Mile staff for track maintenance and materials handling.

"We are excited about our relationship with the historic Milwaukee Mile," said Dan Keyes, vice president, sales and marketing. "Gehl Company is a historic company as well, with roots dating back to 1859."

Operating as an American motorsports venue since 1903, the Milwaukee Mile is said to be the oldest operating speedway in the world.

Gehl also sponsors the Toyota Grand Prix, in Long Beach, California, the Honda Grand Prix, in St Petersburg, Florida, and Road America, in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
