Komatsu aims for double-digit turnover

MILAN, Italy
Thursday, 4 Aug 2005
Komatsu Division general manager Eiji Fukuda.
Komatsu Division, Komatsu Forklift Co Ltd’s European head office, aims to continue 2004’s double-digit turnover in the coming years.

While the European forklift market grew at an annual rate of 7 per cent, Komatsu increased its turnover by 21 per cent last year.

Eiji Fukuda, Komatsu Division general manager, said the company aimed to maintain an annual increase of 20 per cent in subsequent years.

"We are extremely satisfied with the success obtained this year and we hope to continue growing over the coming years," Fukuda said.

Komatsu intends to expand the range at its European production plants, as seen by the launch of new diesel and LPG AX50 and BX50 forklifts with lift capacities ranging from 1.5 tons to 3.5 tons (Forkliftaction.com News #217).
