Jungheinrich "slightly disrupted" by Japan quake disaster
Hamburg, Germany

Jungheinrich has faced minor supply delays for a diesel forklift series but there are alternative forklifts for customers, according to Boersen-Zeitung.
Company CEO Hans-Georg Frey reportedly would not comment on whether Jungheinrich would exploit the supply bottleneck at its Japanese rival, Toyota Material Handling Equipment.
Jungheinrich spokesman Jan Kaulfuhs-Berger tells Forkliftaction.com News that the current situation in Japan has "not impacted strongly" on the company's production or delivery capacity so far.
"Jungheinrich has neither plants nor sales employees in Japan. Jungheinrich only receives a certain number of vendor parts from companies in Japan," he says.
