B&B LAUNCHES PAPERTECH PACKAGE

BERKSHIRE, United Kingdom
Thursday, 27 Mar 2003
B&B Attachments has launched PaperTech, a new concept in paper handling which encompasses technical support and advice; maintenance and a range of quality paper roll clamps.

Developed in conjunction with the paper industry, the PaperTech roll clamps have been designed for in-built reliability, low maintenance, high performance and long life, said B&B managing director Mike Barton.

"For some time we have been aware the paper industry has been looking for a new approach to paper handling. We have developed PaperTech to meet industry demands by including quality products, service, support and maintenance in a complete package," he said.

PaperTech models are available in standard, split arm and tissue configurations, and all are offered as rotating, tippling and rotating tippling models. The range has capacities from 1200kg to 12 tonnes. Standard roll ranges include 1300mm, 1600mm and 1800mm.

Mindful that wear and tear is a major factor in paper handling, B&B has fitted all PaperTech models with pad protectors to avoid damage to contact pad edges when handling vertical reels. The pad pivot hinge is protected with wear strips on the underside of the short arm and a pad spring system ensures the pad is kept in position when picking up reels.
