Watts Tyre Services, the UK operating division of Watts Tyre Group has today announced that from April 5th 2010 it will formally become Interfit Ltd following an extensive rebranding process. The business which is already the UK market leader for forklift tyre services will now build on its position as a key partner to the UK materials handling industry by offering multi brand tyre fitting services, a new service standard and a number of innovations designed to change the UK tyre services market.

Paul Morey, who will become Managing Director of Interfit in the UK, commented "we are delighted to formally launch Interfit in the UK. As market leader we are expected to set the pace of development and innovation and that is exactly what the creation of Interfit is designed for. This goes far beyond a name change. We believe that customers will benefit from having a wider choice of leading tyre brands available to them. We have invested in a number of key areas such as technology, equipment and training to ensure that we raise the bar for service delivery. With the largest network coverage in the UK through 23 depots and over 80 mobile presses Interfit has the infrastructure to reach any forklift within a matter of hours - what matters however is how we perform when dealing with that truck from initial customer contact through the fitting process and then beyond."

Interfit will announce further key developments over the coming weeks, Paul Morey stated "We have spent a lot of time with key customers gaining their insights into how we can be a better service partner and have incorporated much of that into the development of Interfit as a concept. We are genuinely excited about the impact that Interfit will have on the UK materials handling industry."
