RAEDER-VOGEL®: Special wheels and castors for side loaders with up to 20 t load capacity per wheel

Standard or custom solutions for side loader OEMs developed by the world’s leading manufacturer of VULKOLLAN® wheels and castors.
Side loaders are used in a multitude of different applications involving long or bulky materials such as bar stock, tubing, laminates, plywood sheets, furniture or carpet. They are also used for transporting float glass, concrete slabs or cable drums, often in narrow aisles with high stacking. Many applications require custom-built models with load capacities exceeding 60 tons.
Side loaders are typically equipped with VULKOLLAN®, TRACTOTHAN® or rubber drive, load and guiding wheels. For multidirectional steering (lengthwise, crosswise and diagonal as well as circle drive/turning on the spot) we supply special chain driven castors without offset. For extreme loads up to 20 t per castor, these will be equipped with special bearings. PEVOSOFT® and rubber wheels are used for combined indoor and outdoor traffic.
Side loader manufacturers often supply customized models which in turn also require custom-built wheels. We closely cooperate with OEMs worldwide to develop exclusive reliable high-quality solutions.
