Thursday, 9 Apr 2009
Watts Industrie Reifen, the German subsidiary of Watts Tyre Group has today announced the acquisition of Profix GmbH, the north German based tyre services and distribution business. Andreas Karnein, General Manager of Watts Industrie Reifen commented "We are very pleased to make this announcement and to be bringing Profix into our business. Profix has been both a customer and partner for many years and from every perspective it made perfect sense to bring Profix directly into our structure."

"This will strengthen our service offering across the country, particularly in north and eastern Germany, and we firmly believe that this will ensure that we continue to represent excellent value to our customers through superb service and a wide product range."

Watts Tyre Group CEO Jean-Paul Mindermann added "This is another significant step for us as we continue down the path to being a world leading industrial tyre service entity.
