Watts Tyre Group wins Supplier of Year Award.

Thursday, 28 Feb 2008
Watts Tyre Services, the UK operating division of Watts Tyre Group, picked up the award of Supplier of the Year at the 2008 Fork Lift Truck Association annual awards held at the Hilton Metropole Birmingham on Saturday 9th of February.  These awards are the showcase of the UK Materials Handling Industry and cover a range of categories including innovation, safety, environment and ergonomics.

Edward Woolley, UK Managing Director said of the award "We are naturally thrilled to be recognised by the industry for our efforts, we have always sought to be a genuine partner to the UK materials handling industry in terms of both product and service. It is fantastic that all the hard work that we put in through our depot network gets recognised by our customers and the industry as a whole."

Jean-Paul Mindermann, Chief Executive of Watts Tyre Group commented "This is a great achievement for the Group; when you are market leader you have to work twice as hard to make sure that you deliver against the expectations upon you – I am delighted that the industry continues to recognise us as a leading supplier. We have been fortunate to win other awards in recent years, notably for our export achievements, but it is great to pick up such an award at home."
