CEP Clausen Engineering Partners - Representative for high-quality RAEDER-VOGEL wheels and castors for the US and Canada

Tuesday, 21 Nov 2006
Eric Clausen
We are pleased to announce that since 1st September 2006, Eric Clausen of CEP Clausen Engineering Partners is representing RAEDER-VOGEL in the US and Canada, actively promoting our wide range of wheels and castors for forklift trucks and materials handling with high-quality tread materials such as VULKOLLAN®, TRACOTHAN®, PEVOPUR®, VULKODYN®.

More than 60 years of experience as a manufacturer of wheels and castors in Germany and more than 30 years of experience as a manufacturer of VULKOLLAN® wheels and castors (under license of Bayer AG, Leverkusen) have made us one of the leading suppliers of wheels for the forklift and materials handling industry worldwide.

Competent in-house development and design, innovative tread materials, state-of-the-art production facilities with ultra-modern machines and a computer-controlled test stand for dynamic tests of wheels and castors as well as extensive field tests in difficult applications guarantee for excellent quality and highest process reliability at all times.

With our wide range of high-quality non-marking tread materials we can offer solutions for almost any application:
  • For great demands on speed, load capacity and durability, we recommend VULKOLLAN®.
  • In case of wet and dirty track surfaces, e. g. in cold stores, we can offer TRACTOTHAN® wheels with improved grip through embedded TPU granules.
  • For sensitive floors and noise reduction we have developed VULKOSOFT® and TRACTOSOFT® with reduced shore hardness.
  • In case you require electrically conductive wheels and castors, VULKOLLAN®-ELF is the material of choice.
  • PEVOPUR® is a high-quality polyurethane for low speed applications.

Our latest innovation is VULKODYN® - a novel polyurethane based on DESMODUR® 15 by BAYER AG, Leverkusen for fast moving dynamic applications with high loads. The hydrolysis resistant, non-marking material with a shore hardness of 94° A has excellent chemical and mechanical properties and an increased load capacity compared to other high-quality polyurethanes, even higher than VULKOLLAN®. It is therefore ideally suited for use with forklift trucks in distribution centres, also in warm and humid climates.

Eric Clausen has worked in the forklift/materials handling industry for many years which will enable him to assist our customers with any new projects or queries. CEP Clausen Engineering Partners is also representing Kordel Antriebstechnik GmbH, a renowned manufacturer of DC and AC motors and transmissions (www.kordel-usa.com) thus taking advantage of the ideal combination of products and the long-standing cooperation of both our companies.
