Matthias Fischer, who is head of sales on Jungheinrich AG’s board of management, is leaving the company. Fischer is not renewing his contract with Jungheinrich due to "differences in opinion on management issues". He had been in the position since July 2003. Board of management chairman Dr Cletus von Pichler will assume the position temporarily.

CNH Global NV has appointed four new presidents with full profit and loss accountability for their global brands.

Merlo Ferla, chief operating officer for CNH Capital since 2001, has been appointed president of CaseIH. Ferla came to CNH after 22 years with GE, including international senior executive assignments in Mexico, Austria and Italy.

Marco Mazzú is now president of the agricultural business of New Holland. He was president of agricultural business in Europe and Latin America. Mazzú joined CNH in 2003 after holding executive roles in various Fiat Group companies.

Jim McCullough has been appointed president of Case. McCullough has been president of the North American construction equipment business accountable for the Case and New Holland global brands, and the regional Kobelco brand as president and CEO of CNH’s joint venture with Kobelco since 2003. In his 15 years with Case Corp and CNH, Jim has developed a sales and marketing background in the construction equipment industry.

Franco Fenoglio has been appointed president of the construction equipment business of New Holland. He comes to CNH after 14 years at Iveco, Fiat’s truck division, where he was most recently senior vice president for international operations and business development.

Previous functions of global presidents for the agricultural and construction equipment business for CNH Global NV have been eliminated.
