Intrupa Canada expands facilities
MISSISSAUGA, Canada
Intrupa Canada has moved to a larger facility to meet Canada’s growing demand for forklift parts and accessories.
Company spokesperson Karen Sprenger said the new facility was three times larger than the old facility, which was 13km away.
"We have added inventory for thousands of new applications and, in the past year, expanded product lines for new and reconditioned Curtis Instruments’ controllers, gauges, meters, engine overhaul kits and others," Sprenger said.
Ritchie Bros experiences record first-half performance
VANCOUVER, Canada
Gross auction sales for the world’s largest industrial equipment auctioneer were USD1.1 billion for the first half of 2005, 22 per cent higher than the first half of 2004.
It was the largest gross auction sales performance for the first half of the year in Ritchie Bros Auctioneers Inc’s history.
A Ritchie Bros statement said strong sales volume in the US, Canada and Europe contributed to the growth.
